biography
Mirjana has a Bachelors of Applied Science (Mathematics) from RMIT University, where her research interests evolved towards biomechanics. Earlier studies covered function of the human knee joint, as well as side impact simulations in car collisions. Currently, she is a PhD student in biomedical engineering in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.
research interests
Mirjana’s PhD studies investigate how the muscle function dictates walking at different speeds, as well as running. In the future, she plans to enter the world of sports biomechanics.
